Aesthetic Training

Complications and complaints regarding non-surgical treatments are rising.  When complications are examined, many are due to Practitioners not respecting or understanding the patient's unique anatomy, as well as not having the confidence and skills to inject aesthetically both Men and Women.

So why River View Clinic

This intermediate course has been created to give confidence & skills to existing Aesthetic Practitioners. 

Focusing on 4 fundamental components: e-learning and assessment 'one to one' practical supervision when injecting patients and an appraisal of each module over a 4 week period.

FACIAL ANATOMY 


AIM: To enable the practitioner to identify normal side effects and WHY complications occur and how to be prepared if they do occur. 


This module will identify key anatomical facial landmarks.

It's crucial to identify the facial vascular & nerve network as well as how to assess changes in facial ageing in the skin, muscle, fat bone, and hormones. 





BOTULINUM TOXIN (Botox)


AIM: To ensure the practitioner is aware of functional muscle face, side effects and how to manage complications. 


This module will clarify key areas regarding botulinum toxin.   

Providing insight into the medical history of botox will give the practitioner key awareness into functional muscular activity in regards to facial aesthetics. 

Side effects and ptosis and why they occur: When to say 'no' to treatment and how to assess for a 'dysmorphic patient’.  

  

DERMAL FILLERS


AIM: To ensure the Practitioner has the skills to be prepared for normal side effects following injecting and is prepared for adverse events if they occur.


This module will provide insight into various dermal filler techniques, assessment of patients, and practical skills to augment lips & cheeks.

How to evaluate each patient prior to treatment.

How to  deal with normal side effects, and be prepared for adverse events if they do occur.  How to evaluate the anatomical structure of the lips and cheeks, with practical supervision of augmentation.




MALE AESTHETICS 


Aim: To ensure the practitioner is aware of anatomical differences between men and women.    


This module will reflect upon the demographic rises in male aesthetics, with practical expertise.   


The 'Golden Ratio' why Greek mythology will support us when injecting the male face.

  Why it's crucial to identify the anatomical differences between the male and female faces. 

 The importance of sun protection, insight into current research suggesting the increased incidences of deadly melanoma in Men over 50.
